I am contacting you to set up a meeting to begin discussion of the possibility of a permanent conversion of the area encompassing the Fort Pierce bike trails near the Crossroads Industrial Park in St. Lucie County.

Each of you has been contacted by either me or someone in this group to initiate this process at my request.  Local cyclists are organizing at this time and will be meeting at the Blake Library in Stuart on April 6^th, 2002 at 3 p.m. to discuss the Ft. Pierce trail and other items.

I feel it would be best if the specifics of the Ft. Pierce trail are discussed in a smaller group.

Each of you is vitally important to this process.

Finally, if anyone can help me to add Diana Waite to this list, I would be most appreciative.

Please call me at your earliest convenience so that we can work out a meeting schedule and find out what materials and research must be done prior to such a meeting.  I don’t want to waste anyone’s valuable time.
